Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a tribute to the Canadian racing driver behind
Corvette Racing's first win, in 2000. Ron Fellows went on to become a
three-time American Le Mans Series GT1 champion, a 24 Hours of Le Mans class
winner and an overall winner in the Rolex 24 at Daytona with Corvette Racing.
The white exterior and red fender slashes are taken from the colors of the
Canadian flag. Only 399 of this unique Corvette will be manufactured by General
Motors. Each Corvette Z06 will be autographed by Ron Fellows himself, creating
a very rare Corvette.

Ron’s first professional series was the Player’s/GM Challenge. He competed from
1986 to 1989 when he won the Driver’s Championship. He also competed in the
Rothmans Turbo Porsche Cup and Formula Atlantic Series...
Ron went on to dominate in Trans Am competition, winning 19 races in 95 starts.
It was in Trans Am that Ron forged a winning relationship with Chevrolet and GM
Racing that started in 1995 and continues today.
As part of Corvette Racing Ron has been part of six consecutive American LeMans
Series GT-1 class championships and three Driver’s Championships. In 2001 Ron
became the first Canadian ever to win the 24 Hours of Daytona. He has also
played a role in Cadillac’s return to racing making ‘guest’ appearances at many
events. To date he has three Speed GT wins to his credit.
Ron has had a varied and accomplished career. In 1997 he had the opportunity to
race a Ferrari 333SP sports prototype. A win at Mosport International in
Bowmanville, Ontario provided Ferrari its first sports car win in Canada since
1964.
Since 1997 Ron has enjoyed competing in a limited number of NASCAR events. He
has two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series wins; three Busch Series wins and two
second place finishes in the Nextel Cup Series.
Ron has received many nominations, awards and accolades from the racing
community throughout his career. In 2006 he was voted ‘Most Popular Driver’ by
the Fans of the American LeMans Series for the 3rd consecutive year.
